The Village's Great Decisions discussion group continues this year with its first meeting on Friday, February 14th, at 2 p.m., in the South West Library. New members are welcome. The Foreign Policy Association, sponsor of Great Decisions discussions, describes this program  as "America's largest discussion program on world affairs , , ,  . The program provides background information and policy options for the eight most critical issues facing America each year and serves as the focal text for discussion groups across the country."  

 

We use the FPA's briefing book for preliminary reading and discussion questions. Attendees are asked to order the briefing book in advance and come having read the materials. The first topic of 2025 is U.S. Changing Leadership of the World Economy.
