This is a unique opportunity for Waterfront Village members and their friends to go on a private tour of the Anacostia River. On their website the Anacostia River Explorers boat tour is explained as educating  "the public about the Anacostia River watershed, including its human and natural history, the threats it face sand what solutions are being undertaken to help the river realize its full potential as an invaluable asset for the communities along its banks."

 

Members should wear a hat, apply sunscreen and bring water.

 

Please arrive at the Village by 1pm and we will go to the Yards Park Marina together.

 

Following the tour, we will walk to Jenny's to enjoy DC fan favorite ice cream!
